Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life.

I found myself in the wilderness, the same way you found yourself in the wilderness.  I was attracted by an interesting opportunity that turned out to be something completely different entirely... 

What I soon learned was, anything you do for the first time you will be bad at doing that thing.

I have never needed to:

🍖 Hunt my own food

🛖 Build my own shelter

🔥 Gather wood for warmth

Yet, here I was required to do all of these things and more.

Adriana was the first survivor to find Crystal Dawn Alliance and I am grateful she is still with me until this day.  She was a mountain of a woman when she first arrived.  And if I am being honest, she has been a better hunter, a better gatherer of wood, and is best at building furnaces.  I wonder if she will notice that I give her all the domestic duties…?

After Adrianna there was Yayang from from 🇰🇷, then Tweety from 🇩🇪, and Desenzo from 🇮🇳.

I felt like I was a bad leader from the beginning:

⛔ I missed opportunities to complete events

👪 I struggled to recruit new members

💁🏽‍♂️ My advice was often flat out wrong

But no one seemed to notice, or at least they paid me the compliment to not mention it.

Instead, they were grateful... Grateful to find an alliance that was active.  Grateful to feel supported.  Grateful to be part of something that was beginning to feel like family.

It inspired me to post my first Alliance recruiting message on an old, raggedy, boring message board:

“Hello, would you like to join our Alliance?

We are Active, Supportive, and Friendly! 

Come join Crystal Dawn Alliance Today! 💞”

What came next exceeded my wildest expectations…

So in Whiteout Survival life, or in real life know this thing: 

You will be bad at whatever you do for the first time.  So just start!

🤪  Crazy Joe Event Strategy  🤪

Crazy Joe is an event where your alliance will be attacked by Crazy Joe mercenaries over a total of 20 Waves.  Crazy Joe will attack all your Alliance member Cities, as well as your Alliance HQ.  Defend the Cities of your alliance members against the attacks of Crazy Joe and earn awesome rewards.

  1. Split your Troops into Equal Deployment Teams and garrison your troops in the cities of online active Alliance team members before the event begins

  2. Keep your Strongest Defensive Team in your City

    1. Ex:  Sergey | Molly | Gina (Place your defensive player in the far left slot)

  3. Again, place all your other Troop Deployments in the Cities of ONLINE Alliance team members

    1. 2nd Defensive team Ex:  Bahiti | Any Hero | Any Hero

    2. 3rd Defensive team Ex:  Patrick  |  Any Hero  |  Any Hero

    3. 4th Defensive team Ex:  Walis  |  Any Hero  | Any Hero

    4. 5th Defensive team Ex:  Ling Xue  |  Any Hero  | Any Hero

    5. Etc…

  4. Crazy Joe will begin attacking Cities over a total of 20 waves

  5. During Wave 10 and 20, Crazy Joe will attack the Alliance HQ

    1. Move the troops stored in your City to the Alliance HQ to defend the Alliance HQ

    2. Move your troops back to your City, from Alliance HQ only, after the 10th wave ends

  6. Do not move your troop deployments garrisoned in alliance team member cities until after the event ends

Additional Tips:

✅ Place defensive players in the far left slot when creating troop deployment teams

✅ If you have both a Tundra and Icefield HQ, Crazy Joe will attack the Tundra HQ

✅ You must defeat at least 50% of enemy troops to count as a successful defense

✅ During certain waves, Crazy Joe will attack Online members only. This is why it is best to garrison troops in the cities of ONLINE active members before the event begins

✅ During Waves 10 and 20, Crazy Joe will attack the Alliance HQ

✅ Alliance Leaders:  Release your alliance members from Alliance HQ after Wave 10 to help them get back to their Cities efficiently for wave 11!

✅ Do not move your troops garrisoned in the cities of active alliance members until after the event ends, you will surely miss a wave.

✅ Equalize your troop deployments before sending which helps to make sure one player does not hog all the room when Crazy Joe attacks the Alliance HQ 😅
